Sébastien founded GenSearch in 2010, after seven years as Europe Life Sciences Team Leader within a leading global executive search consultancy.
During these years, he actually recruited and assessed hundreds of executives for the Global Life Sciences/Healthcare market. He also participated in strategic Recruitment Process Outsourcing projects for the global or regional HR Departments of Life Science market leaders. He was also the consultancy’s key user of ACs (assessment centers) and developed an array of assessment tools, dedicated to specific healthcare market roles.
Sébastien graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Physique de Strasbourg (1996 – Physics Engineering School), with a specialization in biomedical engineering. After a few experiences within prestigious biology research centers (Institut Pasteur, Inserm, IRCAD), he began his career as a biomedical engineer in a French military hospital.
Following this experience, he joined companies dedicated to the maintenance and control of medical equipment: successively, CGEM (initially, the subsidiary of the first French Private Hospital Group, Générale de Santé, later acquired by GE Healthcare), and AMTECH Médical, as Sales and Tech manager.
After an experience as BU Manager at Alten, an engineering and IT consulting group, as recruitment became a major part of his role, he decided to focus on HR topics and joined a leading global executive search firm.

Stéphanie joined Gensearch with 16 years of executive search experience; 12 years of which in recruiting executives across the Life Science industry with a particular focus on pharmaceutical, biotechnology and dermo-cosmetic companies.
She has a strong track record of middle-to-senior level search assignments working with both regional headquarters and local subsidiaries and across a large range of functions including Sales & Marketing, General Management, Business Development, Market Access, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory and Quality.
Prior to joining GenSearch, she was a Senior Associate with a global leading executive search firm and worked on international cross-border assignments for the life sciences sector.
Through her experience in the Executive Search industry, she has built a broad network of Senior Life Science executives in Europe.

With a background in law, Heiko Bruhn has a passion for people and leverages his professional network by collaborating with colleagues’ across-borders and across business lines to deliver the best solutions for his clients.
Before joining GenSearch in 2017, Heiko was the Managing Director in Switzerland for a German-based Life Science Boutique firm. In addition to successfully establishing the Swiss branch he advised life science companies on the appointment of senior executives in Switzerland, France, Benelux, Germany and Spain.
Heiko Bruhn is an Attorney at Law. He graduated from the University of Freiburg / Breisgau with specialisation in Labour and Social Security Law. He joined Roche in Grenzach, Germany, as a Human Resources Manager in 1992. In 1994, he moved to Basel, Switzerland, to take on a wide range of roles within the group’s international human resources department. Heiko’s many years of experience supporting international fields such as commercial, clinical development, medical affairs means he has strong contacts within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. In his last position at Roche, he was Deputy Head of Human Resources Switzerland. Heiko is a qualified systemic coach.
He is a German native and is fluent in German and English.
SENIOR CONSULTANT & HEAD OF RESEARCH – PARIS
Camille joined GenSearch in 2013 after ten years’ experience in executive search and recruitment consultancies.
Prior to GenSearch, Camille occupied the position of Consultant with proven expertise at the executive search branch of the global leader of solutions for Human Resources. There, she was able to broaden her experience in different sectors, such as IT and Insurance. She also deepened her corporate psychology know-how throughout her recruitment assignments, by conducting multiple assessments and personality reviews based on questionnaires, within the framework of Assessment Centers or without.
Previously, she worked for two years within the Korn Ferry-Futurestep Group in executive search and assessment.
Camille obtained her Master’s Degree in Corporate Psychology from the University of Paris V René Descartes in 2004. She has been trained in multiple assessment tools, among which, the PAPI.
SENIOR CONSULTANT – PARIS
Annette Hamilton joined GenSearch following an international career in the UK, the US and in Spain.
After an experience in communications, Annette moved into the field of Disability and Employment Rehabilitation, as manager of various projects throughout Europe.
This experience gave her the opportunity to manage schemes funded through the European Community, work at European level and develop a network of global contacts.
Thereupon, she was appointed to the executive management team of the Richmond Fellowship for Employment and Training charity, where she developed her competencies in strategic management, services restructuring and team management.
After four years in Spain, Annette settled down in Paris. She set up a Corporate English teaching and coaching business, incorporating cross-cultural coaching and intercultural communication applied in a business context.
With a wide range of intercultural professional experiences, her intellectual curiosity and open mind have led her most naturally to global executive search and international talent development.
Annette is a British national and perfectly trilingual – English, French and Spanish – and has a B.A. in Communication Studies and Sociology.
SENIOR CONSULTANT – PARIS
Valérie joined GenSearch after 16 years’ experience in HR management in global firms in a wide variety of markets.
Prior to joining GenSearch, during her eight previous professional years, Valérie developed an expertise in the field of medical device as Human Resources Director for Guidant and Abbott Vascular. In this context, she had the opportunity to work on the development and implementation of tools and approaches such as performance excellence, added value selling, or employer branding (“Best Place to Work”).
She was also responsible for organisation optimisation, people development, and the establishment of talent pools in a succession planning framework. In particular, she was in charge of creating and implementing assessment and succession planning tools.
Valérie graduated from the Institute of Social Management (IGS – 1992). She started her career as Deputy HR Manager at the Pierre & Vacances head office, before joining Intermec Technologies, an American high-tech company dedicated to automatic data collection.
CONSULTANT – COLOGNE
Christian joined GenSearch in 2015 as an International Consultant.
Holding an equivalent to a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne, Christian started his career as an Assistant Tax Practitioner with a German auditing company focused on international clients with subsidiaries in Germany.
Among other tasks, he was responsible for the financial accounting, the reporting as well as for the preparation of business plans and annual financial statements. Furthermore, Christian assisted in the formation process of companies, the preparation of employment contracts and in new customer development activities.
Prior to working at GenSearch, Christian was a recruiter with two global U.S.- headquartered Executive Search boutiques, where he contributed to various successful placements in the areas of Life Sciences, Chemicals and Industrial Operations.
During this time, he conducted search projects for opportunities in Europe, Asia and in the U.S. focusing on Manager, (Senior) Director and General Management roles.
SENIOR CONSULTANT – PARIS
Pauline joined GenSearch in 2011 as a Life Sciences specialist, after twenty successful years in this business sector.
With a background in biology, Pauline has a passion for the in-depth understanding of Life Science projects, with a view to provide actionable advice. She managed to transform this fundamental interest into a career in Human Resources, convinced as she is that the human factor is the key success factor to any Life Science challenge.
Before joining GenSearch, Pauline worked at Bionest Partners, a strategy and advisory consulting firm dedicated to the Life Sciences. She was involved in mergers and acquisitions, business development, market opportunities, as well as in strategy assignments focused on Innovation. Her clients were European and North American biotech and pharma companies, investment funds, … Prior to Bionest, Pauline worked for almost ten years in equity research in London (Nikko Securities) and Paris (Banque Paribas), as European analyst for the Healthcare and Cosmetics sector.
Pauline holds advanced degrees in Biology and Finance from the Pierre et Marie Curie University (Paris VI) and is a graduate from the Société Française d’Analyse Financière.
CONSULTANT – PARIS
A consultant for the past two years, Elsa joined GenSearch in 2014, a few months after the company was set up.
After three years as a research associate, Elsa took the opportunity to take on an on-site recruiter role for a leading global pharmaceutical firm for a period of 9 months, recruiting for hard-to-recruit, high added-value positions. This gave her a unique insight into the pressures of delivering large recruitment plans as well as an understanding of international pharma internal recruitment processes.
Elsa uses her recruitment skills across all functions in the life sciences sector, with a particular focus on pharma executive roles. She holds a Master’s degree in International Business (ESCIP, 2008).
GLOBAL MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Alix joined GenSearch in 2016 after having spent 15 years the IT industry where she was amongst other roles an International Field Marketing Director.
She also has experience working managing a European Marketing manager role within the telecom’s industry in London
Alix holds degrees from Oxford Brookes Unversity as well a the ESC La Rochelle.
