In 2010, Sébastien established GenSearch, following a successful tenure of seven years as the Europe Life Sciences Team Leader at a prominent global executive search consultancy. His experience and expertise in the field have been instrumental in laying the foundation for GenSearch’s growth and success.

During this period, Sébastien shouldered the responsibility of recruiting and evaluating numerous executives for the Global Life Sciences/Healthcare industry. He actively participated in strategic Recruitment Process Outsourcing projects, collaborating with the HR Departments of major players in the Life Science market on a global or regional level. Simultaneously, he became the primary user of Assessment Centers (ACs) within the consultancy, where he developed a range of specialized assessment tools tailored to specific healthcare roles.

Sébastien’s educational background includes graduating from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Physique de Strasbourg in 1996, where he pursued studies in Physics Engineering with a specialization in biomedical engineering. He gained valuable experiences through his involvement with prestigious biology research centers such as the Institut Pasteur, Inserm, and IRCAD before embarking on his professional journey as a biomedical engineer in a French military hospital.

Subsequently, Sébastien transitioned to the private sector and worked with companies focused on medical equipment maintenance and control. He first joined CGEM, an entity initially associated with the prominent French Private Hospital Group, Générale de Santé, later acquired by GE Healthcare. Later, he became part of AMTECH Médical, assuming the role of Sales and Technical Manager.

As his career progressed, Sébastien took on the position of BU Manager at Alten, an engineering and IT consulting group. During this period, recruitment became a significant aspect of his role, prompting him to shift his focus toward HR-related matters. This decision led him to join a renowned global executive search firm, where he played a vital role in talent acquisition for the industry.
