From Product to Patient: A Transformative Shift

Our speakers, Olalla Grau (Global Executive Director, Pharma International at Roche) and Alexandros Giannakis (Partner, Life Sciences at PwC Switzerland), led the evening with compelling insights. They focused on the challenges and opportunities ahead. Both emphasized the need for healthcare ecosystems that are not only digitally connected but also built around trust. Data transparency and personalised engagement are crucial.

The conversations highlighted a common theme: the traditional product-centric model is no longer sufficient. Instead, there is a growing need to design end-to-end solutions that place the patient experience at the centre — from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

Designing Connected, Insight-Driven Ecosystems

Attendees discussed how HealthTech is enabling this shift by bridging gaps between clinical care, digital services, and real-world patient needs. Topics included:

  • Direct-to-patient engagement strategies
  • Data-driven service models beyond the prescription
  • New collaborative frameworks between tech, pharma, and care providers
  • Regulatory and operational challenges in scaling digital healthcare initiatives

These discussions underscored both the ambition and complexity of building scalable, compliant, and meaningful HealthTech solutions.

Looking Ahead: HealthTech Dinner Q2 2026

We are excited to continue this important conversation. Our next HealthTech Leadership Dinner is scheduled for Q2 2026, where we aim to deepen the dialogue around sustainable transformation in life sciences, with a continued focus on patient-centric care models, digital innovation, and collaborative partnerships.

At GenSearch, we remain committed to fostering these industry conversations and helping organisations find the leaders who can drive this transformation forward.
